Dear colleagues and supporters in Jewish-Palestinian dialogue and future-building,

The Jewish Bulletin of Northern California (http://www.jewishsf.com) took a step forward in September, 2000, even as the new Intifada began.  With trepidation, it published its first obituary story and large color photo of a Palestinian -- Nadim Zarour, a champion of California Palestinian-Jewish dialogue since the '70s, when meeting with "the other" was a no-no.  It was one of writer Alexandra Wall's (Alexandra@jbnc.com) first assignments in her new job.
Today, Friday, January 25, 2002, the Bulletin again helped move life forward.  Once more it was reporter Alexandra Wall.
Beginning on page one, MAKING PEACE IN THE LIVING ROOM is the headline, and Alexandra's two articles and four photos span three pages.
The stories are on the Web for you.
Let us all seize this moment to help close the great divide.    --L&L:
