Dear colleagues in Jewish-Palestinian listening, dialogue,
and living together,
The front page of the Christian Science Monitor,
Tuesday, February 6, 2002, http://www.csmonitor.com/, features Arab-Jewish living room
dialogue.
"SEEKING UNDERSTANDING... ONE DINNER AT A
TIME" is the feature of the section on "Living,"
appropriately. It's at:
http://www.csmonitor.com/2002//0206/p11s01-lihc.html
This is largely the story of the four
Jewish-Palestinian Living Room Dialogue groups in San Diego, where yet a fifth
group has just been formed.
This is an example of "living" in this 21st
century -- THE CITIZEN'S' CENTURY -- recently defined by Dr. Harold Saunders,
former U.S. Assistant Secretary of State, and facilitator for the Camp David
Accords.
Dr. Saunders authored the definitive 1999 book,
"A PUBLIC PEACE PROCESS: Sustained Dialogue to Transform Racial and Ethnic
Conflicts." More about this publication is on the Web at:

Palestinian and Jewish citizens -- women and men,
young and old -- of San Diego, you encourage us!
