We 145 American Jews and Palestinians, and supportive others — young and old — are in nine sustained Dialogue groups here, some for over 11 years. Meeting in each other’s homes, we demonstrate it is not “impossible,” but absolutely possible and desirable. Today, December 7, 2003 - Pearl Harbor Day - remembered for its violence, we gather to reject violence and rededicate ourselves to lives that create relationships, trust, and activities that transform enemies into partners, for the good of both peoples, equally.

We urge you to study and support The Geneva Accord of Yossi Beilin and Yasser Abed Rabbo. It is consistent with The Roadmap, and adds details to the popular Nusseibeh-Ayalon Statement of Principles, another example of needed citizen creativity. Also the work of OneVoice will continue to include even more Palestinian and Israeli citizens in a feedback process that will reveal what the people truly desire and consent to.

These creative proposals are beyond “taking sides.” They have shared principles required for success that we recommend to you:

      · A new quality of listening to both peoples.
      · Wanting the best for both peoples, equally.

Your official work and our "public peace process" in tandem can and will build a Middle East and world that benefits all. We support you and are here to assist you in any way we can.
