New 2007 films for the public peace process
Three related films are
now available to citizens worldwide
to inspire a new quality of communication
in schools, homes, and camp settings, while
demonstrating how to initiate and plan programs that
help diverse communities, even “enemies," engage successfully.
Released in February, 2007, these DVD sets have gone to over 4,500 individuals
representing 1,436 institutions in 974 cities, 50 states, and 61 countries on every continent.

The partnership of a Palestinian-Jewish Dialogue and 85-year-old camp brings together in the California mountains
140 Muslims, Jews and Christians of all ages, including from Israel and Palestine.
They discover one another and their ability to communicate and cooperate in new ways.
Back down the mountain, they hold a public San Francisco event to
tell the community about their struggles and breakthroughs.

PEACEMAKERS and their pursuit of understanding

This how-to film documents the process of planning and enacting
the September, 2006 week of the Fourth Palestinian-Jewish Family Peacemakers Camp in California.
Called Oseh-Shalom ~ Sanea al-Salam, it gathered 255 Muslims, Christians and Jews
to transform an 85-year-old traditional Jewish community camp into
a model of what life can look like.
The inspirational video is instructive for those wishing to create or improve camp-like activities that
bring together interested, diverse citizens of different ages, genders, backgrounds and worldviews.
