This practical afternoon to create a San Mateo culture of listening and inclusion offers modern tools of communication for your home, school, business, neighborhood, and global community.
Facilitators Libby and Len Traubman co-founded the 24-year-old Jewish-Palestinian Living Room Dialogue of San Mateo, featured on CNN, NPR, MSNBC, and Voice of America. They co-produced six films including DIALOGUE AT WASHINGTON HIGH, PEACEMAKERS: Palestinians & Jews Together at Camp, DIALOGUE IN NIGERIA: Muslims & Christians Creating Their Future, and CROSSING LINES IN FRESNO They have guided hundreds of dependably successful Dialogues on high school and university campuses, and in neighborhoods across America and overseas.
Roots of this Dialogue are in South African inter-racial, inter-religious story and meal-sharing during apartheid 1980s, and in early 1990s Black-White meal-sharing in San Mateo homes.
